About the Author

Max Winders

Max and his wife, Karin, started a tradition of taking their three young sons on canoe trips to the northern wilderness when the boys were just 7 to 11 years old. Now, with grandchildren in the picture, Max's aim is to spark children's imaginations with stories of adventure, courage, and fun. His goal is to inspire both parents and children to disconnect from the digital world and explore the great outdoors.
